Deciding to be a Flight Attendant?
Since I was a kid and my parents took me on holiday trips, being in a plane meant fun times to come!The stewardess and stewards (as they were called back then and still are) seemed to always be nice, smiling and handing out toys and food to me. What's not to like? :)
After slogging it out through the corporate 9-5 jobs, I thought... why not apply to be a Flight Attendant?
I originally thought to apply to a USA domestic airline but one of my friends said, why not apply to an international carrier? Hmm, sounds like a better idea.
Looking back now, I had my friend to thank for a more rewarding career! Thank u! :)
Read that the acceptance rate for a Flight Attendant was actually lower than that of going to an Ivy League school! Well, that doesnt help my odds I guess.
Anyway, I applied online to one of the major USA carriers and hoped for the best!
